The Consumer Food Safety Education Conference
People from many different professions and from public and private sectors are involved in the food safety chain of prevention – from “farm to fork”.
The Consumer Food Safety Education Conference is THE place for health educators and public health leaders to focus exclusively on how they can best support consumers with actionable steps they can take to reduce the risk of food poisoning at home.
The conference revolves around outcomes and on providing educators from all sectors with the tools and information they need to make a real impact in their communities.
The non-profit Partnership for Food Safety Education hosts the conference and also provides programming year-round to connect health educators to effective practices, strategies, and developing initiatives.
The most recent Consumer Food Safety Education Conference took place on December 4-5, 2014. A spirited group from public and private sectors gathered in Arlington, VA to discuss key issues in consumer food safety education from social media to outcome evaluation.
